Shelby Head, from Madison, CT, studied sculpture at Pratt Institute in the MFA program. She has extensive experience working as a professional mold maker and wax technician for several art foundries in New Mexico and for sculptor Tom Otterness in New York City. She built models and supervised model makers for stop motion animation television commercials and music videos during the 1980's. In 1994, Head began working as a professional sculptor. She has exhibited widely and is represented in numerous private and corporate collections.
Amber Maida's paintings are internationally collected and represented by galleries throughout the US, Canada, and the UK. She has been featured at the White Space in New Haven, Station Gallery in NYC, AIRS in New Haven, The Housatonic Museum of Art in Bridgeport, The Silvermine Guild of Art in New Canaan, and The Gallery at Black Rock now known as Gallery 305K in Bridgeport. Maida splits her time between Naugatuck, CT and Irvine, CA.
