Art Walk Ridgefield Coming to Downtown Ridgefield
Friday, August 22 & Saturday, August 23

The streets of our quintessential New England town will come alive during Art Walk Ridgefield 2014.  More than 40 restaurants, businesses and cultural venues will showcase the work of countless artists in windows and on shop walls during this free, three-week festival, transforming the downtown area into a strolling art gallery.

Art Walk kicks off on the evening of Friday, August 22nd, when downtown merchants host opening receptions with their featured artists.  Live music and performance art will showcase local talent.  The celebration will spill onto the sidewalks on Saturday, August 23rd, with more live music, raffles and live demonstrations from participating artists.

Other events are planned during the length of the festival, including a special festival-long exhibit at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists and a closing party at the Guild barn on Saturday, September 13th.

Art Walk Ridgefield 2014 is being organized by the Ridgefield Guild of Artists and the Ridgefield Arts Council.  For more information or to participate as an artist or merchant host, please visit the Guild website at www.rgoa.org or phone 203.438.8863.
