PEER ADVISOR NETWORK AVERT YOUR ORGANIZATION’S
CRISIS TOMORROW – CALL FOR A PEER ADVISOR TODAY!!

The Peer Advisor Network (PAN) is a flexible, short-term consulting service that matches your nonprofit or emerging group with an advisor from our impressive roster of peer executive directors, finance directors, marketing directors, consultants, curriculum designers, planners, and lots more talent and experience. Address your organization’s health and capacity issues before there’s a problem. The cost is subsidized by CCT so your organization pays only one third ($100/day) of the already discounted $300 per day consulting fee charged by our para-consultants. The program is administered regionally by five local arts organizations in partnership with the Commission.
Review the program at the Commission’s PAN web site: cultureandtourism.org/cct/cwp

RIDGEFIELD LIBRARY SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
Need to log some community service hours for school, church or synagogue, Scouts or another club or resume for college? Get on the list to help out with shelving, mailings, special events and whatever else comes up. Scheduling varies based on the project. Individual longer-term special projects also may be arranged.

The Library has a new service that supplies library materials directly to those unable to come to the Library on their own due to health or mobility problems. Drivers are needed to make deliveries and pickups on a pre-arranged schedule.

Volunteers are always needed to help out the weeks of the spring and fall used book sales, to sort incoming donated books on an ongoing basis, and to research and process items for our new Internet book sales operation.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITES FOR YOUTH
Ridgefield Music and Arts Center’s program director will schedule student shows on weekends to give students a chance to perform while providing a safe supervised location for other teenagers and pre-teens to meet. Weekday evenings could prove to be a useful time for community non-profit music and art groups looking for practice space or for adults to come together for jazz night, open mic night, poetry readings... the possibilities are endless.

CRAFT EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (CERF) CERF
now provides assistance to emerging professional craft artists who have suffered a recent career-threatening emergency. In the past, CERF provided assistance only to artists who earned a living from their work for at least three years.
"We have expanded our guidelines," notes program director Craig Nutt, " because we recognize that disasters can strike artists who have recently started their careers and businesses." To be eligible an applicant must demonstrate a clear commitment to working full-time as a craft artist along with working to advance their knowledge in their chosen media through education, apprenticeships or internships.
